Learn about study, design and demonstration funding for your large building projects. This session complements the previous day's session from NYSERDA on the Large-Scale Thermal program in the Thermal Energy Network track.

High Temperature Heat Pumps for Space Heating
One of the key barriers to broader building electrification is the relatively low temperature water delivered by water-to-water heat pumps. Perish the thought (!) says these manufactures who have electric heat pumps that take on the delivery temperatures typically reserved for fossil fuel boilers. High temperature space heating delivery systems can be left in place, and there's likely capacity to spare to make some domestic hot water while you're at it.
