Largest Canadian Geo Project to Versaprofiles April 01 2019, 0 Comments
A newly signed agreement has made NY-GEO member Versaprofiles the leading Canadian supplier of geothermal loops. Vancouver International Airport recently launched its massive facility expansion plan, including the construction of the largest Canadian geothermal heat exchange project contract in Canadian history.
The contract, signed with installer Ground Source Energy, makes the company responsible for developing and building the geothermal ground loop system for the Airport Central Utilities Building, which will manage and distribute geothermal heating and cooling for the entire facility, including the main terminal.
The project will require a total of 841,000 feet of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geothermal piping and is expected to launch in 2022..
