GeoMicroDistrict Presentation July 01 2019, 0 Comments

The Home Energy Efficiency Team (HEET) is giving a Feasibility Study Results presentation this morning, Monday, July 1, 2019 from 10-11 AM..

HEET contracted with BuroHappold Engineering to complete a statewide feasibility study on the engineering and economic potential for the GeoMicroDistrict concept in Massachusetts.

A GeoMicroDistrict is a shared water loop delivering heat and cooling, powered through 100-500 foot boreholes in the gas company's right-of-way in the street. When interconnected, the GeoMicroDistricts become a renewable thermal utility system, replacing natural gas.

This Monday morning presentation will be available on the web. Register here.
