Gov. Cuomo Signs Climate Bill July 22 2019, 0 Comments

On Thursday, July 18, 2019 NY Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law the most ambitious legal mandate for cutting greenhouse gases in the nation.

It requires an 85% reduction from 1990 levels over the next three decades and a carbon-free electric system by 2040.

It also addresses the need for job creation in renewable energy industries and funding to ensure low income communities are included in this drive to a carbon-free future.
