NYC Bans New Fossil Fuel Infrastructure February 10 2020

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio made history when he signed an executive order to block new fossil fuel infrastructure in the city. This massive blow to the oil and gas industry, announced during de Blasio's State of the City address, makes New York the first major city in the world to commit to stopping new fossil fuel pipelines, power plants, and other projects.
