In a recent survey, every respondent said they or the firm they worked for had clients ask them to design a GCHP system...yet a quarter of them had not attended a seminar or workshop to learn how to design a system. The two biggest reasons they hadn't taken a course were:

• Courses are seldom offered at a convenient time or location, and
• They take too much time away from the office doing productive work

The average cost of attending a course was over $5,000, including travel, lodging, course registration and time away from the office. Of the people who took a course, 50% said the course had proved to be very valuable in their work, and the rest said the course was quite useful. 50% of the participants attended an IGSHPA course.
